A short story (~500 words) I wrote in early December 2020 for a (very small) writing competition or something like that. Most of the people that have read it were either perplexed or intrigued and interpreted it in their own way—I guess it bends to the will of the reader! Nonetheless, if you're looking for the original tale in this story, you'll find it by taking the words you read in the most literal way possible. Have fun, no matter what path you choose!
